SCDA began with ownership: a personal digital home where creators could keep their work, its history, and the permissions around it.
Building Life OS widened the question. Keeping a copy of something is different from having authority to interpret it, act on it, or make it public.
V1 · The personal virtual home
The 2025 whitepaper proposes rooms with different levels of access, layers of creative material, provenance, and creator-controlled exchange. It is the originating research proposal, preserved here as written.
V2 · Sovereign participation
The second version moves from one container to connected, independent parts. Its central rule: information may travel; authority does not travel with it automatically.
Custody, interpretation, publication, and action need distinct permissions. Uncertainty and unfinished understanding remain valid states.

V2 evolves the proposal without replacing V1.
Where it stands
Life OS is the private working environment where I’m developing these ideas. This website publishes selected work from that environment; it is not the system itself.
The original documents remain in private source custody. For this release, the V1 whitepaper and V2 text were retrieved from Life OS and checked against their stored hashes. The public copies are selected editions, not a connection into the private archive.
There is V1-era API scaffold code and later Life OS work informed by V2. That is progress toward the architecture, not a completed SCDA platform or a claim of full conformity. I’m still testing whether the system carries useful continuity without creating more work to manage.
The original standards integrations and exchange model are research directions. This page does not claim they have all been implemented or independently validated.
