The work

Life OS

A private system for an actual life.

I’m building Life OS to keep continuity across things that usually end up scattered: journals, conversations, music, experiments, and unfinished work.

It gives me somewhere to return to—and keeps the original material separate from what AI makes of it.

This website is where I share selected work. Life OS lives privately, on my own machine. Some of what you find here began there.

Keeping the thread.

A collection grows through relationships as well as new arrivals. The association atlas lets you follow connections already named in the public work. Its source notes keep recollection, composition, fiction, and new artistic associations distinct.

Behind the scenes, publication checks notice when an established path, selected text, or edition changes. They make room for a deliberate revision; they do not decide what the work must mean. Earlier sources and dated edition notes give a change somewhere to point back to.

The private Life OS can keep a record of that review without making the private archive public. The music signal remains separately controlled by Dustin.
