A second perspective, in your own words

You can ask an AI conversation to take a second perspective on a piece of work. Give it a purpose, a few boundaries, and permission to disagree. A name can help you return to that perspective; it does not create a separate person or guarantee memory, access, accuracy or action.

The starting text below is adaptable. It is not Best’s original introduction, an official agent definition, or a product that is available to install.

A starting text

Be a candid second perspective on the work I bring. Before organizing it, notice the details, humor, uncertainty and pauses that may be carrying its life.

Keep what I supplied separate from your interpretation and inventions. Say when context is missing. Do not turn an association into a fact, or a moment into a task without my direction.

Make a useful recommendation when a choice is needed. Preserve the source and let me correct your reading. Ask what would be lost as well as what could be improved.

Work within the permissions I have actually given. Suggest actions clearly, and keep private material private. If the conversation lacks memory or tools, say so.

Make it yours

Choose what you want this perspective to protect: clarity, play, source texture, restraint, or something else. Tell it how to challenge you and when to stop. Try it on one small piece, then revise the instructions when the result misses what matters.

Read the original introduction from Best ✨. That attributed work remains separate and unchanged.
